This is where the fun begins.

We've invited all of our friends and family to join us for a day of fun and sunshine at the Lewis Ginter Botannical Gardens. The picnic starts at 2:00 in the afternoon on Sunday, May 29.

We're expecting perfect weather and acres of flowers. Did we mention 60 children under the age of 12? Did we mention the clowns? That's right. The clowns.

One of our goals is for this to be a family-friendly celebration -- there will be lawn games, ice cream and a clown making balloon animals for the children.

Park in the main lot at Lewis Ginter, and they'll direct you down the pathway to the reception (wheelchairs are available). Mark your calendar for 2:00 in the afternoon, and wear your snappiest garden party clothes.
