| The Details
The facts and nothing but the facts. Hopefully, these details will help make your weekend plans simple and easy. If you have any questions, please email Nikole or John and we'll fill in the blanks. Wedding We'll be having a small ceremony for immediate family and close friends on the evening of Saturday, May 28, in the backyard of our friends Tom and Judy at 3605 Brook Road. There is plenty of parking on both sides of Brook Road, and just across the street on Wilmington Avenue. Join us for cocktails at 6:00. The ceremony will begin at 6:30, and will be followed by dinner. The Picnic We're so excited at the prospect of spending a gorgeous spring day with hundreds of our friends and family at the Lewis Ginter Botannical Gardens during the afternoon of Sunday, May 29. One of our goals is for this to be a family-friendly celebration -- there will be lawn games, ice cream and a clown making balloon animals for the children. Park in the main lot at Lewis Ginter, and they'll direct you down the pathway to the reception (wheelchairs are available). Mark your calendar for 2:00 in the afternoon, and wear your snappiest garden party clothes. Hotels We've booked a block of rooms (at $69 per room; for the Sarvay-Lewis wedding) at the Holiday Inn-Central on North Boulevard at I-95. It's a half-mile to both our house and to Tom & Judy's house (the Saturday wedding site), and about a 5 minute drive to Lewis Ginter Botannical Gardens (the Sunday picnic site). The hotel's main number is 804.359.9441 and you can book rooms directly from their website. Here's a link to a handy map, courtesy of Google Maps. |
