Cross Pollinate, Social Media Expert Says By John Sarvay | July 27, 2011

“Find influences, they will champion your cause,” said Pham, “Cross pollinate and find other hubs to find what works for your business.”

Pham was speaking as part of a recent panel discussion, “Social Media: Is it for your Business?” The panel was organized by WHIMBY, What’s Happening In My Back Yard, a small business networking group that promotes the development of business and professional relationships.

“We had a lot of questions about social media,” said WHIMBY organizer Lynn MacMillan Schafer. “We wanted to show how small businesses could use social media.”

The event included a panel discussion on what social media can do for small businesses. In addition to Pham, panelists included Cara Dickens, VP of Rocket Pop Media, and Mike Meyer, President of NetSearch Direct.

Hello.  Yes I read about this theory in the Independent eepswapnr (in England). This is known as colony collapase disorder and was first seen in North America but is now being seen across Europe. It is characterised by the failure of colonies to return to their hives. This is very concerning, as you rightly point out, bees, especially the honey bee are key to our ecosystem and the pollination of many crops. Without bees, crops will fail and there would be mass food shortages.  There is no conclusive proof that this is being caused by mobile telephone signals but research being conducted suggests that this is an area that requires further investigation.  But there are also suggestions it could be due to other factors, such as pesticides and GM crops.  To get to your main point and question; would I give up my mobile should it be proved that mobiles are the problem Yes I would.
