How to Turn $50 into $10,000 for Our Community By Juliet Brown | September 27, 2011

Richmond’s 36-Hour Giving Challenge
Turn $50 into $10,000 for a local nonprofit.
Participate in The Amazing Raise and help give unprecedented donations to GiveRichmond charities. During this 36-hour online giving event, the more unique donors who give a gift of $50 or more to their favorite nonprofits, the greater the chance of those organizations winning bonus grants of up to $10,000.
The Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia has committed $100,000 to be distributed among winning nonprofits. All gifts must be made by credit or debit card on GiveRichmond.org to be counted toward these prizes.
Don’t wait. The race begins at 6 a.m. on October 5th and ends at 6 p.m. on October 6th.
On your mark, get set, give!
